Local, seasonal and homemade products: these are the roots of our cuisine.
At La Linière, we cook what nature provides us with, respecting its rhythm and those who cultivate it.
Here, each dish is created from the right product, a sincere gesture and a simple desire: to enhance life without distorting it.
Our cuisine is enlightened, natural, guided by the seasons and by the artisans who inspire it.
The spirit of the dining bar accompanies us: a friendly atmosphere, dishes to share or savour gently, comforting classics, and creations that evolve over the months, like a garden that changes colours.
We welcome you to a place steeped in history, opening onto a garden that echoes Blooma’s botanical universe, where our culinary style — Handwritten — takes root and flourishes.
The building that now houses the restaurant La Linière has lived many lives since its founding in 1695 as a convent of the Recollectines order.
Expanded in the 18th century with the addition of a garden and a cloister, the property changed hands following the French Revolution.
In 1828, it became home to a linen spinning mill, later known as the Société linière de Saint-Léonard. This activity continued until the 1930s, despite a fire in 1914.
While the spinning activity has ceased, the heritage of “La Linière” remains.
Our terrace features a magnificent garden, a peaceful corner reminiscent of the cloister’s atmosphere dating back to the 17th century.
It’s an idyllic setting for a meal when the weather permits, or simply to enjoy a moment with friends, family, or colleagues… with an appetizer board and a good Liège beer, of course!
We can also host private events such as receptions, after-work gatherings, and team-building activities.
