In good company, discover our sharing boards, ideal with a good cold local beer on the terrace.

We are proud to welcome you to our building steeped in history.
Many traces of this rich heritage remain, including our magnificent vaulted room and our terrace overlooking the garden.
Without forgetting our name, chosen to honor our industrial past!

La Linière - Homemade cuisine

History

The building now housing the La Linière restaurant has lived several lives since it was founded in 1695 as a convent of the Order of the Recollectines.

Extended in the 18th century with the addition of a garden and a cloister, the property then changed hands following the French Revolution.

In 1828, it hosted a flax mill, later under the name of the Société linière de Saint-Léonard. Despite a fire in 1914, the activity continued until the 1930s.

If the spinning activity has now ceased, the legacy of “La Linière” remains.
